With our 'can do' philosophy, our aim is to give you the on-the-job learning that will allow you to optimise your unique talents, build your career and flourish within a stimulating environment.
Our training budgets are in line with industry standards and are maintained year on year if not increased. Financial sponsorship is also available for our people to study for relevant professional qualifications. Because we see training as a serious investment in our people and, in turn, a serious investment in the business.
But while we will provide the support and resources, ultimately the onus will be on you to take ownership of your career and maximise the opportunities available. A good starting point for self-learning is the Selecta intranet. Here, you can access support materials including e-learning (IT courses) and identify training courses that will be appropriate to you.
Operations Training
Joining us in Operations, you will attend a new starter induction course to give you
the tools, skills and confidence to kick-start your career, even if you have no previous experience in vending. As long as you have a passion for offering great customer service, we'll help you develop and provide you all the support you need.
We offer further in-house courses and continual coaching, so you remain fully conversant with sales, technology and customer service techniques. We also work with our suppliers who offer training to update you on new products and services, so you remain at the cutting edge.
