Selecta strives to continually improve its health and safety management in line with the requirements of the Health and Safety At Work Act 1974 etc.The health and safety of our staff, clients and public is our top priority. Our goal is to eliminate occupational injury and illness which underscores our belief that accidents are preventable. As well as protecting employees, our focus on health and safety improves productivity, helps employees to feel valued through committee meetings and consultation, but also protects our reputation through accreditations such as ISO 14001, ISO 9001 & Safe Contractor.We embed a good Safety, Health, Environmental and Fire culture across the Group by providing the training and tools needed to recognise and understand the importance of good practices and how to proactively mitigate risk. All staff must adhere to our Health and Safety policies and procedures which are embedded in our Risk Management System.After an unwanted safety event, an investigation is conducted and corrective actions are implemented. The lessons learnt to prevent reoccurrence are then shared across Selecta via the Health & Safety Committee and by Safety bulletins.We are pleased to report a continued improvement in safety performance, monitoring and reporting.
