Great news; we have completed the first stage for ISO14001:2004 and we are on the road for full accreditation by the end of the year.

Here at Selecta we embrace and promote ethical business practices setting sustainable development goals which are integral to the way we do business. To this end we believe in...

...respecting our environment
We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint, handling our waste efficiently and increasing our ecological product offer.

We have completed stage 1 of ISO14001:2004 accreditation with our Environmental Management System (EMS) and we are on target to achieving our full accreditation by the end of 2009.

To meet the requirements of ISO14001:2004 our Environmental Management System (EMS) must:

- Continually improve our environmental performance
- Implement a systematic approach to setting environmental objectives and targets, to achieveing these and to demonstrate that they have been achieved

Our policy demonstrates the strategic approach of ISO14001:2004 in relation to the environment.

We are committed to continually improving our environmental policy and will:
- Comply with existing legislation
- Adopt best practice and consider the environment (where no legislation exists)
- Work with suppliers and sub-contractors to reduce their impact on the environment
- Minimise waste and where possible re-use and re-cycle materials
- Provide environmental awareness training for employees
- Work with customers to reduce environmental impact on our customers' sites
- Continue to work on our Environmental Management System (EMS)
- Set environmental objectives which will be monitored and reviewed on an annual basis
