Selecta 'Highly Commended' At National Training Awards

Managed by UK Skills and supported by the Department for Education and Skills, the department for Employment and Learning Northern Ireland, The Welsh Assembly Government, The Scottish Enterprise and the Highlands and Islands Enterprise, The National Training Awards are reconised as being the nation's top accolade for businesses, organisations and individuals who have achieved lasting excellence and sucess through training and learning. They are aimed specifically at those who have decided to boost their chances of being successful by learning new skills.

 Selecta was rewarded in the awards' category for companies based in the South East of England for its Management Academy which helps the company asses and improve the skills of its managerial staff. The ceremony was held at The Copthorne Hotal, Effingham Park, Gatwick.

Set up by Selecta in 2006 as part of a series of straegic business changes, the Selecta Management Academy is a unique three-day residential training programme which incorporates a wide range of subjects including situationl leadership, coaching and motivation, delegation, strategy, managing performance and loss prevention.
