Selecta, which provides high quality food and beverage vending services to more than 200 primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities in the UK, has agreed to lend its support to the campaign which provides free resources to educational establishments including computer hardware and software, books and sports equipment. EIC is also responsible for the provision of the Education Network, an online resource which provides free educational and national curriculum content and also caters for the day-to-day management and redevelopment of schools, colleges and universities. The network is used by headteachers, teachers, bursars, project managers, parents and students of all ages and is currently accessed by more than two million people each month. Under the terms of the deal, Selecta will become EIC's recommended education vending supplier. An outline of the services the company provides to the education sector will be included on the Education Network. Regular email bulletins will also be distributed by EIC, including information on new products and equipment or any special offers available from Selecta. Selecta will sponser EIC's Informats, computer mouse mats which are sent out to schools, colleges and universities. The company's name, logo and web address will feature on the mats.
