Under the terms of the agreement, which is expected to be worth in excess £1 million in total turnover, Selecta will install more than 50 snack machines at 12 shopping centres in Harrow, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Wigan, Newcastle, Liverpool, East Kilbride and Paisley. As part of the vending offer, Selecta has worked closely with supplier Mars Confectionery to devise an exclusive range of confectionery products. Popular potato snacks from Walkers and United Biscuits will also be available. The company's merchandisers will pay regular visits to the site to ensure all machines are fully stocked and maintained. "We are delighted to be working alongside Propinvest to deliver this high quality vending offer," says Selecta sales and marketing director Jonathan Barr. "Shoppers are looking for light snacks that they can purchase and eat while on the move, so we have specifically tailored our product range to meet this requirement." Propinvest director of property Lisa Hartley said: "We have crafted an excellent partnership with Selecta and are delighted to offer our customers this desirable and complimentary product at our busy malls. Selecta has been able to offer us the level of service and quality of equipment that we require on our upscale estate and we look forward to a long and profitable relationship." |
