We have developed the Seattle water cooler in partnership with world-leading beverage dispensing specialist IMI Cornelius and the world's leading brand in water filtration Brita, to suit modern businesses' changing environmental policies while at the same time satisfying the highest levels of hygiene. Each unit features a dual-stage Brita filter which uses activated carbon and membrane filtration to remove any sediments and substances contained in tap water, plus waterborne bacteria such as E.coli and parasites such as Crypotosporidium. Customers can also be safe in the knowledge that the Seattle has been designed to prevent any cross-contamination from bottles, glasses or fingers, with a recessed stainless steel dispenser nozzle preventing any direct contact. The nozzle also features a double-layered ionized coating which stops bacterial growth. As well as meeting the highest standards, the Seattle has strong environmental credentials with an average daily energy consumption of just 0.6kWh - a quarter of the amount used by a 100 watt light bulb over the same period. Additionally, the Seattle uses tap water removing the need for environmentally - unfriendly - and costly - plastic water bottles, reducing the resources used, waste produced and transport required. The Seattle also offers flexibility ensuring a variety of requirements can be met. It's available in two different formats - a still water-only version which offers unchilled, medium chilled and chilled water, or a combined still and sparkling water unit offering medium carbonated and lightly carbonated water. Both versions have adjustable temperature settings from 5 to 12 degrees C. For those who want to add flavour to their water, a 500ml syrup concentrate bottle and pump can be placed inside the unit allowing still or fizzy flavoured water to be dispensed. The Seattle can also be adapted with a cash or cashless payment system and, depending on space requirements, can be purchased with or without the base cabinet. "The Seattle will enable our customers to enjoy refreshing water exactly how they like it, whenever they like," says Selecta Concept Development Manager Emily Stoten. "With its modern, contempory design, the Seattle is not only extremely hygienic and eco-friendly, it looks great too. It has been tailored specifically to be flexible and will fit neatly into any workplace." |
